A small update on the KVII. I have reworked the turret hatch as i wasn't too happy with the results and the rest of the tank is now built. Working on the brass stowage bins at the moment and trying to make them fit into the space on the fenders. Proving a bit tricky! I'll post some pics in the next few days. Here's a picture of the new turret hatch.

A little progress on the KVII done. I was hoping to start the painting of the Simca but it's too hot. I never thought i'd write that sentence. Anyway here's a few pictures of the turret hatch with the etch parts replacing the one piece moulded kit part. I just need to add one part onto the arm of the turret.

I shaved and sanded the detail off.

New etched brass parts and a bit plasticard tube for the centre.

I've also fitted the brass grab rails on the sides of the turret.

KVII

Some progress shots of the KVII. I will be fitting the grab handles to the side of the turret next with brass wire. This will further enhance the finished look. The stowage bins are also in the process of being built. More pictures soon.
