At last! here is the finished model of my Panzer II. After the filter process, decals were added and sealed with satin varnish. I finished it off with a brown wash around the detail parts.
Lower hull was treated to various shades of pigments and secured with mig pigment fixer. Nothing special in my finish, just taking my time to get it looking right. I added some stowage from a Legends set designed for this tank, as usual, a perfect fit. These sets are great and you get loads of items, which you can festoon on your vehicle or save some for another time, see www.frienshipmodels.org.uk.
The base was constructed out of plastic card and followed the same lines as the Stug build, earlier in this blog. The grass was added using a static applicator, which makes the grass fibres stand up to replicate the real thing. I will show this in another photo build on bases. The tank was added and blended into the dirt with the same pigments that were used on the tanks hull.

Base construction under way.

The four sides now glued together.
